Analysis of the causes of soil degradation the Akhty mountain and valley agricultural and experimental station of the Republic of Dagestan
Abstract
The cause-and-effect relationships of the land degradation processes occurred under the different agricultural use were defined and estimated based on the study of soils of the Akhty mountain and valley agricultural experimental station. The concept of DPSIR (Driving forces-Pressure-State-Impact-Response) revealed that the main factor in increasing the degradation of soils of the station is a socio-economic factor.
