The composition of minerals of large fraction of retisols and podzols of the eastern part of Kostroma regions and their subsurface weathering

Abstract

The mineralogical composition of fraction of more then 0,1 mm of podzolic soils of the Kostroma region was studied. One of the debatable versions of finding the boundary between the glacial deposits of the Moscow and Dnieper ages is confirmed. Signs of destructions of minerals are established, this indicates the role of this process in providing mineral elements of the subsurface, which formed on weathered glacial deposits.
